"489" by A.B.Deneweth

I'm not sure a lot of artists immediately think watercolor when you say abstract, but I've learned from some amazing watercolor teachers just how versatile this medium is.

In this layered watercolor abstract, I'm playing with symbols (which I love to do), stamping, stencils, stickers, wax, salt resist, etc. I think a viewer can often sense when an artist has enjoyed creating a piece and that was my goal here. I also like art that hints at academic endeavors such as science or math.
